A NEW CHAPTER FOR YOUR WRITING

Your words.
A little more
alive.

Hear the rhythm. Find the missing word.
Give your story a voice, in a quieter place to write and listen.

In development for Mac. Made with writers in mind.

Griffible
CHAPTER ONE

The letter

He placed the letter on the kitchen table and watched the rain slide down the window, trying to remember the last time the house had felt so quiet.

Somewhere upstairs, a floorboard creaked, and he realised he was no longer alone.

Perhaps the letter had been a warning.

LESS FRICTION. MORE STORY.

Get out of your head.
Into your story.

Sometimes the sentence looks right.
Then you hear it. Griffible brings listening into the way you write.

01

Bring your words.

Import a Word document or start writing. Shape your manuscript with simple formatting, spellcheck and autosave.

02

Find their voice.

Audition a narrator, adjust the pace and give italic passages a voice of their own.

03

Listen. Notice. Refine.

Read from your cursor or a highlighted passage. Catch an awkward rhythm, make your edit and keep the story moving.

A FIRST LISTEN

Meet the voices
between the lines.

Meet Reed and Oliver: two voices available by these same names in Griffible’s Voices & cast library.

Oliver

VERY SOFT · ENGLISH · CALM 0:17

Find Reed and Oliver by name in the app. These saved samples are the exact synthetic reference recordings used for their app voices. Chatterbox generates new speech from these references, so its delivery may vary. Playing a website sample does not generate new speech.

YOUR DESK, WITH A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE

Keep the flow.
Catch the details.

A writing space that makes room for listening. Move between the words on the page and the way they sound, without juggling your manuscript between apps.

  • Read a selection or continue from your cursor
  • Pair a narrator with a separate voice for italics
  • Choose your fonts, text size and light or dark theme
  • Export your writing back to Word

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

Before you turn the page.

Who is Griffible for?

Writers who want to hear their work as they edit: a chapter, a scene, a conversation or a whole manuscript. It’s being built around the experience of writing and revising fiction.

Can I use my existing manuscript?

Yes. The current desktop app supports Word import and export, so you can bring your writing into Griffible and take it back to Word.

Are these real voice samples?

Yes. These are saved reference recordings for Reed and Oliver, available under those names in the app. Playback makes no AI-generation request. Newly generated app narration can differ in delivery from the reference.

When can I get it, and what will it cost?

Griffible is in development for Mac. A public release date, subscription prices and generation allowances haven’t been finalised. You can email us to express interest in early testing.

Can I create an audiobook to sell?

Audio export is not part of the planned first release. Our current focus is listening while writing and editing your manuscript.
